Sorry to see you guys are closing up shop. It was always fun to read your articles, from baseball to punk rock, to dumb relationship articles to thought provoking posts it was always fun to read something new and fresh from you guys.

What you did was not a failure by any means, a failure would have thought about doing this, but never having the balls to go through with it. At the least you guys accomplished bringing a wide group of friends together that otherwise may have drifted apart and at most brought in new readers and laughs to people you didn't even know existed. (I am just glad I am in the first group and not the second!)

Keep kicking ass you guys and I am sure we will be hearing from you all in some form on the Internet in the near future.

Thank you, CJS, for making adding humor and a link back to pop culture in my otherwise poopy diapered, spit up covered Groundhogs Day. I've never told you this before, but after the birth of my son I suffered from Postpartum Depression for about 6 months. Being able to go to your website everyday offered me the one smile of the day I would have otherwise missed. And to be able to add a comment that seemed relevent made me feel relevant. And to someone in the midst of sadness, this feat is priceless. You may think you have "failed" but I think you helped to save me. And to this individual there is no bigger success in the world.

What about girls that drive jeeps?! I drive a Jeep and I have respect for any ricer head, prius, and other off road vehicles! There is just a sense of pride when we drive our Jeeps because we put so much time and "Money" into them!!

Couple things, I think billy and the cloneassuraus is a rip off od some other book. Second I think the molgi midnite thing gets reset after sunrise since that is what kills them.

this guy is a douche bag himself. i always wanted a jeep growing up and finally got one. its got accessories but the ones needed for rocks and trees. and those who have a problem with the wave its like bike riders waving to eachother. i mean really what other one vehicle type has been made and still produced since 1941. its a peice of american history you assfucks.

Interesting read, it is kind of pathetic that anytime something happens the first thing most people think of is, I need to post that to Twitter or Facebook. (myself included) Not saying that it is all bad, it is a good way to keep in touch with people for sure.

Also, the two TV's next to each other was a brilliant idea, and I don't think the three of us will ever have a better idea in our lifetime.

The The is the worst name for a band that I've ever heard. Holy shit. And the song reminded me of a fight I got into with a friend in college. We were arguing over which film was better: Empire Records or Dazed and Confused. The argument quickly became a full blown fight. I accused him of being overly sentimental, he alleged that I was a self-important jackass. It got ugly.

Having said that, Dazed and Confused is way, WAY better than Empire Records (which I like just fine, by the way). In addition to being both hilarious and poignant, it's one of the great zeitgeist films of all-time. Both my parents have said that it captures the spirit of the mid-seventies perfectly. And if MY PARENTS say something's true...

Nevermind. Jesus, maybe my buddy was right about me being a self-important jackass?

Such good choices! I will totally tag along with each of you to these shows. My ultimate pick is Songs In The Key of Life by Stevie Wonder. First off, it's a double album, so I'll get some serious bang for the buck (sneaky, no?). Also, I love to unleash my funky, inner black lady every time I hear "Sir Duke" and "As," so that would obviously be awesome and entertaining. The only thing that could make this dream scenario better would be to sing back-ups. Call me, Stevie!

I liked this column quite a bit. Out here in LA, there's a karaoke bar just down the road from Warner Bros. studios called Dimples. It's a dive that brings in A-list regulars such as Ron Jeremy and Dennis Haskins (a.k.a. Mr. Belding). Back when I was a wee lad in my mid-twenties, I'd show up from time to time with my buddies, get plotzed, and belt out some tacky hit from the '80s. And lucky for me, the nice folks at Dimples always supplied me with a free DVD of my "performance" so that my obnoxiousness could be immortalized. The best/worst was me struggling through David Lee Roth's "Just A Gigolo" like Joe Namath being interviewed by Suzy Kolber. This was weirdly celebrated by my friends, and its DVD was passed around by many. Everyone seemed to love my belting out the (intentionally gibberish) lyric "HUMMALA BEBHUHLA ZEEBUHLA BOOBUHLA HUMMALA BEBHUHLA ZEEBUHLA BOP!!!" Eventually, I tricked myself into thinking I should show it to my family. My brother and cousin both thought it was hilarious. So on to the big one: a viewing with my parents. After several chuckle-free minutes, my dad simple muttered "Jesus" and walked off.
